Tour & Transport Operators Award winning company of the 2016 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards, South Sea Cruises will continue to invest and innovate to facilitate the growing demand in their line of business and provide the comfort that their customers deserve.

Chief Executive Officer, Brad Rutherford revealed the ferry service provider will be bringing on line two new high speed catamaran ferries this year.

“It’s extremely fuel efficient and comfort like no other,”

“We’ve put in a lot of time into our marketing and into our assistance and it all comes together to create a very successful service which obviously link the hotels in the Mamanuca’s and the Yasawa’s where we play a vital role in tourism from that point of view,” Mr Rutherford said

This week he revealed, they’ve also announced the opening of the Malamala Beach Club.

“It is Fiji’s first Island beach club for day trip guests and nothing like it you can compare in Fiji,” Mr Rutherford said.

Meanwhile, in winning the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards, Tour & Transport Operators Award, Mr Rutherford said it was a tremendous achievement particularly for the staff.

“We have close to 250 staff who work tirelessly seven days a week from 6am till the evening up until the night, so at the end it’s a tremendous award because we’ve got so many people, that shows you how one big company can come together to achieve such good recognition,” he said.

Mr Rutherford said in an industry that’s constantly changing and upgrading they continue to thrive because they have great staff and fantastic support from their shareholders.
